About the International Affairs Office

Founded in early 2008, the office of international student has developed toward the constant international thought with very specific aim at promoting and introducing international programs of studies and environments. In addition, the office is set up to increase the collaborations among the international universities around the world. The office also works to facilitate the external visitors, students, diplomats, educators, or business visitors.

As far as academic work is concerned, the office of international students handles several kinds of necessary documents such as exchange and transfer programs, student account and visa advice and preparation, international meeting reports, and the accommodation purposes. International office may work in close cooperation with Academic Affair Office, Faculties, and important concerned departments of the university but under the supervision of the chancellor and vice-chancellor. International office may increase more and more international visitors with the purpose of academic development and internationalization.

Goals

  • Recruit qualified and diverse new students to meet the enrollment goals of the University.
  • Recruit academically talented students to assist the university goal of enhancing quality and prestige.
  • Provide timely and accurate admission application, transcript evaluation and residency classification services to the new, former and continuing student populations.
  • Provide an excellent orientation program for new students and their parents, including advising and registration, to assist in a smooth transition to the university.
  • Recruit, develop, support and retain Office of Undergraduate Admissions staff.
  • Continuously seek excellence in all areas of service.
  • Effectively infuse and integrate technology in all key processes.
  • Strengthen and expand collaborative efforts with educational communities throughout the region and the globe.
